Product Details

Peperomia quadrangularis (angulata) - Beetle Peperomia is a member of the Piperaceae family of plants and can be found in Brazil, Panama and South America. Its thick, succulent type leaves are dark green with light green striping. The stems are thin but tough and in high light will turn a reddish color. This is a great plant and something you don’t see as a houseplant very often. It prefers a moist, well drained soil such as Josh’s Frogs Potting Soil. Allow the soil to dry between waterings and do not allow the roots to sit in water. This interesting plant will grow in a compact shape if kept in a pot and if planted in a terrarium/vivarium, it will creep along the bottom and root at each node. Peperomia quadrangularis (angulata) - Beetle Peperomia prefers low to moderate light.
